Making do has been practiced since the beginning of civilization. What we see of it today was perfected by our ancestors and gifted to us so that we might know about sustainability, ingenuity, sharing fairly the world's resources, stretching the dollar, and not wasting. Making do calls us to preserve, fix, create, conserve, save and learn how to "make something 'outa nothin'."
